春の色彩 - The Colors of Spring
The spring season, as I mentioned previously, is the most colorful of the year. Blues, yellows, pinks, bright greens, and many others can be found everywhere.
春は一年の中で最も色艶やかな季節です。青、黄色、桃色、鮮やかな緑を始め、多くの色が街を飾ります。
This time of the year is the best for going sightseeing. One of my favorite places, after the cherry blossom season, is Izumo Taisha. Many people say that there are few flowers there, but in fact, there are many beautiful irises and cherry blossoms there. Just to the right of the main path to the shrine lies a small pond which is full of these lovely flowers. It is a favorite spot of mine.
この季節は観光にも最も適した時期です。桜が散った後、私はよく出雲大社を訪れます。多くの人が大社に行っても花を見ることは出来ないと言いますが、実際にそこに行けば優雅なアヤメや桜を目にすることが出来ます。本殿へと続く道からほんの少し右へそれると、美しい花に囲まれた小さな池が佇んでいます。出雲大社の中でも私の好きな場所です。
Another very nice place is Tobigasu Hon Jin. At that place, we can find the greatest possible variety of irises that can be seen anywhere. Each type of iris is raised with others of the same kind and color. The result is that there are so many areas of color here and there, that a person can spend hours just looking at them.
☆とびがす☆本陣では、色、形様々なアヤメが参拝客を迎えてくれます。それぞれ色、種類ごとに固まって咲いており、その様は色彩の共演と呼ぶにふさわしいものです。何時まで見ていても決して飽きることはありません。
The garden at Yushien is really magnificient. Peonies and the other splendid flowers, plus sculptured trees, form one of the best gardens I know of. In addition to those, there are gardens all over the Sanin District well worth visiting. I sincerely hope that, when visiting such places, there is no need to rush through and get back for appointments. These gardens should be viewed in a leisurely manner, giving our lives value, and our hearts, peace.
油志園は壮麗の一言に尽きます。牡丹をはじめとする多くの美しい花、盆栽からなる庭園は、今まで私が見た中でも5本の指に入るほどです。 山陰には、この他にも是非一度訪れてみたい庭園が数多くあります。このような場所では慌てず時間をかけゆったりと鑑賞し、有意義な時を過ごし心の平穏さを取り戻したいものです。
For special beauty, you should go to the lovely gardens at the Adachi Museum of Art in Yasugi. They are the most beautiful ones you will ever enjoy visiting. The fact that they are maintained on a daily basis, contributes much to their natural beauty. I get real pleasure when I visit the museum and its artistic gardens.
究極の美との出会いは、安来市の足立美術館にある日本庭園が与えてくれます。その光景は皆さんが今まで見たことも無いもののはずです。その美しさは毎日欠かさず為される手入れの賜物です。ここを訪れる時、私は自分の心が満ち足りて行くのを感じます。
