玉入れ - tamaire

Each team has a basket attached to the top of a long pole and many balls of the same color. The color of the balls is usually different for each team. The players in each team try to throw as many balls as they can into their basket before the time runs out. The teams that can throw the most balls in their basket wins.

高いポールの上に取り付けられた籠(かご)の中に玉を投げ入れる競技。籠と玉はチームごとに用意され、玉の色はチームごとに決められている。制限時間内に籠の中に入った玉の数をチームごとに競う。
